Acupuncture here is not just needles

Most of our acupuncture sessions take the form of LIMDA AcuNap. If you ask how it feels, patients describe it as meditation-like: a dark, quiet room, deep stillness, and most people fall asleep. If you ask what it technically is, it combines acupuncture, pharmacopuncture (herbal medicine injected at acupuncture points — a treatment developed in Korea), electroacupuncture, infrared heat, and physical therapy in a single session. What we treat with acupuncture

Neck and shoulder pain from desk work, back pain, headaches and jaw tension, sleep problems and jet lag, digestive issues, and post-accident recovery. For facial concerns we offer facial acupuncture (a no-downtime lifting approach — no injections, no marks). Where Korean national insurance applies — acupuncture, electroacupuncture, physical therapy — international residents with NHIS coverage are treated through the same diagnosis and treatment process as our Korean patients. Pharmacopuncture and cosmetic facial acupuncture are out-of-pocket; we explain costs before treatment, not after.

Is it safe? Does it hurt?

We use single-use sterile needles, far thinner than injection needles. Most first-timers say the sensation is much milder than expected — a brief tingle, then warmth. If you are nervous, tell us; we adjust the intensity and start gently.

Your first visit

Book ahead and there is no wait; walk-ins are welcome too. Your first visit takes about 60–90 minutes, including consultation, assessment and treatment: pulse diagnosis, a consultation about your condition and lifestyle, then treatment on the same day in most cases. Bring your ARC card if you have NHIS coverage.
