Hangover in Busan? What a Korean Medicine Clinic Does the Morning After
A late night in Haeundae or Gwangalli, soju and beer, and a flight or a full day of sightseeing ahead. What actually helps, what to skip, and what a Korean medicine visit involves.

limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is next to Park Hyatt Busan in Marine City, Haeundae, the doctor treats you in English, and you can walk in without an appointment. We are open weekdays 10:00–19:00 and Saturdays 09:00–17:00, about a 10-minute walk from Dongbaek Station and around five minutes by taxi from the hotels along Haeundae Beach. We are in Haeundae-gu on the east side of Busan, not in the Nampo-dong or Jagalchi area of Jung-gu. Your first visit, including LIMDA AcuNap, takes about 60–90 minutes: about 15 minutes of measurements, a consultation, and treatment.
limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is across from the Suyeong Bay Yachting Center in Marine City, Haeundae, and reservations are recommended and walk-ins are welcome; consultations are one-to-one.
Busan nights are long. Seafood by the beach, soju with beer, a second round in Gwangalli. The next morning there is a ferry, a flight or a day of sightseeing, and your head disagrees.

What to do first, before any clinic
- Water, slowly — a glass every 20 to 30 minutes, not a litre at once.
- Salt and something warm — Korean haejang-guk (hangover soup) exists for a reason: warm broth, salt and protein.
- Eat — toast, rice porridge, a banana. An empty stomach makes nausea worse.
- Skip more alcohol — a "hair of the dog" only delays it.
- Painkillers carefully — avoid paracetamol (acetaminophen) after heavy drinking.
What a Korean medicine visit adds
Hangovers usually come with a tight neck and shoulders, a pressing headache, nausea and poor sleep. LIMDA AcuNap is a quiet rest in a private, darkened room: acupuncture for the neck, head and stomach, with infrared warmth, and time to lie still. Many people fall asleep. It does not remove alcohol from your blood; what it can do is help a tense, nauseous body settle.
For people who drink often on business trips, we also prescribe LIMDA Aeju-hwan, a herbal pill for drinking days, after a consultation (80,000 KRW). It is not a licence to drink more.
What it costs
Visitors without Korean National Health Insurance take the LIMDA AcuNap course at 200,000 KRW, including a body assessment, moxibustion, cupping, red light therapy, ICT therapy, consultation and a LIMDA personalized conditioning report. We confirm the cost before treatment begins.
Frequently asked questions
Q. Can I walk in without an appointment?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome on weekdays 10:00–19:00 and Saturdays 09:00–17:00; booked patients are seen first, so there may be a short wait.
Q. Can I get acupuncture while still hungover?
Yes, once you can keep water down and are not vomiting. Drink a glass of water before you come.
Q. Can I fly after the treatment?
Yes. Drink water before boarding and on the plane.
Q. Do you give IV drips?
We don't offer IV drips. We can help with the headache, nausea and heaviness that linger.
Q. Do I need to speak Korean?
No. The doctor treats you in English, and one of our doctors consults in Mandarin Chinese.
