Longevity Clinic in Korea — Five Questions to Ask Before You Book, and a Measurement-Based Check-up in Busan

Our LIMDA Longevity Check-up reads your body with five non-invasive measurements — constitution analysis, EEG-based stress measurement, body composition, 3D facial analysis and pulse diagnosis — and continues into one-to-one herbal prescriptions written in 15-day units. This page is for anyone searching for a longevity clinic in Korea: five questions worth asking before you book, and how we answer each.

LIMDA K-Medical Clinic (경희림다한의원) is a ten-minute walk from Dongbaek Station on Busan Metro Line 2, registered with Busan as a clinic for international patients, and appointment-only. English consultations are conducted directly by the doctor.

What longevity medicine does

It measures, it personalises, and it acts before disease. Korean medicine has carried that idea for a long time under its own name — 治未病, treating what is not yet disease. Donguibogam (1613) put nurturing life before treating illness, and Sasang constitutional medicine (1894) held that the same symptom can call for a different prescription in a different person. The instruments are new; the frame is not.

1. What exactly is measured?

Ask for the names of the measurements, not the name of the programme. Clear items are what let you say, next time, what changed.

Ours are five. Constitution analysis sets the baseline. EEG-based stress measurement shows where you sit between tension and recovery. Body composition gives muscle, body water and visceral fat as numbers. A 3D facial scan records left–right balance and puffiness. Pulse diagnosis reads circulation and digestion. All five are non-invasive and take about 15 minutes.

2. Do you leave with a written record?

What you are told fades in days. Ask whether the results come on paper or as a file.

You leave with a written report in English, and the 3D facial analysis report can be issued in 20 languages. You can show it to your own doctor at home exactly as it is.

3. Who explains it?

Look for a clinic where the person who measures, explains and prescribes is the same line of people. How the numbers connect inside one person is best explained by the one treating you.

Here a Doctor of Korean Medicine explains all five results together, in one sitting. English is with the doctor directly; Chinese is spoken directly by one of our doctors, and Japanese interpreting is arranged with 48 hours' notice.

4. Is the prescription written for you?

If the measurement is individual, the prescription should be too. Ask what changes depending on the result.

Ours is written for one person after pulse diagnosis and consultation, in 15-day units. After fifteen days we look at the body again and write the next one.

5. Are you measured again?

Longevity is not one reading; it is change over time. Ask whether the same items are repeated under the same conditions when you return.

On a second visit we repeat the same five measurements under the same conditions. Two reports side by side turn change into a record, and the longer that record runs, the more precise the judgement about you becomes.

Planning it from Seoul or from abroad

Busan is about two and a half hours from Seoul by KTX, and Gimhae International Airport serves the city directly. The clinic is next door to Park Hyatt Busan, so many visitors pair a first visit with a stay in Haeundae. Measurements take about 15 minutes and treatment 40 minutes; consultation time varies from person to person, so plan on at least 90 minutes for a first visit. Herbal prescriptions can be shipped to you after the consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Do I need symptoms to come?

No. A record taken while you feel well is the most useful baseline you will ever have.

Q. Is there an age to start?

There is no set age. "I don't feel the way I used to" is a good moment to begin.

Q. Can I have the measurements without a prescription?

Yes. You can take the measurements and the explanation, and decide about a prescription later.

Q. Will I get my results in English?

Yes. The report is in English, and the 3D facial analysis report is available in 20 languages.

Q. How do I book?

We are appointment-only. Phone or WhatsApp +82-10-7925-6248, or book through the website.
