Can a Busan Clinic Ship Your Korean Herbal Medicine Abroad? How It Works
Yes: after an in-person first visit, your custom herbal prescription can be sent to you abroad, 15 days at a time, with an English ingredient list. Here is the process and what to check with your own customs.

limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is next to Park Hyatt Busan in Marine City, Haeundae, the doctor consults in English, and we can ship your Korean herbal medicine overseas after your first visit. The first prescription needs an in-person consultation with pulse diagnosis; your first visit takes about 60–90 minutes, including consultation, assessment and treatment. Prescriptions are made 15 days at a time, and you can walk in without an appointment.
limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is next to the Park Hyatt Busan, and our doctors and all staff speak English, and a Chinese-speaking doctor is on site — no interpreter booking needed.
How it works
- First visit in Busan — measurements, pulse diagnosis and a consultation in English (or Mandarin Chinese with our Chinese-speaking doctor). We ask where you live before prescribing.
- Destination check — import rules for herbal ingredients differ by country. We confirm for your destination whether a parcel can be sent, how it goes and what it costs, before the prescription is made.
- Prescription — a custom formula decocted at a licensed external dispensary and sealed into single-dose liquid pouches. The first 15 days can go in your checked luggage or be shipped.
- Follow-up — when you are near the end of the 15 days, we check in by WhatsApp, LINE or WeChat, adjust the formula if needed, and send the next batch.
What comes with the parcel
- An English ingredient list
- An English document stating that this is a personal prescription from a registered Korean medicine clinic
- Instructions for taking it, in English
Ingredients we will not send
Some animal-derived ingredients, such as musk and bear bile, fall under CITES and cannot be exported or imported regardless of quantity. If a formula would need an ingredient that is restricted for your destination, we tell you and build the prescription without it.

What to check on your side
Customs rules are set by the country receiving the parcel, not by us. Before you travel, check your own customs authority's guidance on personal-use herbal medicine and quantities. We give you the documents; the decision at the border belongs to your customs.
Why 15 days at a time
Your body changes, and a formula that fits today may not fit in a month. A 15-day prescription lets us review how you are doing and change the next batch. It also keeps each parcel to a personal-use quantity.
Frequently asked questions
Q. Can I walk in without an appointment for the first visit?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome on weekdays 10:00–19:00 and Saturdays 09:00–17:00; booked patients are seen first, so there may be a short wait.
Q. Can you prescribe without seeing me in Busan?
No. The first prescription requires an in-person consultation with pulse diagnosis; follow-up prescriptions can be arranged remotely.
Q. Which countries can you ship to?
It depends on the destination's import rules. Tell us your country and we confirm before prescribing.
Q. Do the pouches need refrigeration?
No, not for the length of a normal trip; the single-dose pouches are vacuum-sealed.
Q. Will I get an ingredient list in English?
Yes. Every prescription comes with an English ingredient list and a document stating it is a personal prescription.
