If you are in Busan for the Busan International Film Festival (October 6–15, 2026), limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is about 10 minutes by taxi from Busan Cinema Center. We are a Korean medicine clinic next to Park Hyatt Busan in Marine City, Haeundae, and we treat the stiff neck, tight lower back and jet lag that festival days tend to bring. Consultations are in English.
limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is next to the Park Hyatt Busan, and consultations are by appointment only and one-to-one, with no waiting room.
limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is a ten-minute walk from Dongbaek Station on Busan Metro Line 2 and works by appointment. We are registered with Busan Metropolitan City as a medical institution for international patients.
Why festival days are hard on the neck and lower back
A festival day is two or three films, each around two hours, in a seat that holds your head slightly forward and your hips at the same angle the whole time. Add a long flight a few days earlier, a late screening, and a short night, and the muscles that hold the head and the lower back simply run out of recovery time. Most people notice it on day three: the neck does not turn as far, the lower back complains when standing up, and a headache starts behind the eyes in the afternoon.
A clinical reset between screenings
Wellness during a festival usually means a spa, a walk on the beach or a good meal. A clinical reset is a fourth option: a doctor checks how you move, then treats the muscles that are doing too much.
- Check — we look at how the neck turns and how the lower back bends, not only where it hurts.
- Measure — a short, non-invasive measurement of about 15 minutes on a first visit, including an EEG-based stress reading.
- Treat — LIMDA AcuNap: acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, electroacupuncture and infrared heat in one session, followed by quiet rest in a dark room. Many people fall asleep.
Treatment takes 40 minutes. Consultation time differs from person to person, so allow about 90 minutes for a first visit.
Fitting it between screenings
- Before the first screening — we open at 10:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on Saturday. A morning visit leaves the afternoon and evening free.
- The lunchtime gap — if you have two or three hours between a morning and an afternoon film, a visit fits with travel time included.
- Before an evening screening — a late-afternoon appointment, then dinner in Marine City or Haeundae and back to Centum.
Tell us your screening times when you book and we will plan the visit around them.
Festival-week hours
Weekdays 10:00–19:00 and Saturday 09:00–17:00. We are closed on Friday, October 9 (Hangeul Day, a public holiday) and Sunday, October 11.
Getting here from Busan Cinema Center and from Haeundae hotels
From Busan Cinema Center in Centum City, a taxi takes about 10 minutes: cross the Suyeong River and you are in Marine City. Ask for Park Hyatt Busan; we are on the ground floor of iPark Tower 1 next door, units 104 and 105. From hotels along Haeundae Beach it is about five minutes by taxi. By metro, Dongbaek Station (Line 2) is two stops from Centum City Station, then a ten-minute walk.
If you are jet-lagged
Jet lag and a festival schedule pull in opposite directions: the body wants to sleep in the afternoon and wakes at 3 a.m. Morning light, meals at local times and a short walk between films help. In treatment we work on the neck and shoulders and on calming the nervous system, so that sleep arrives at local night.
Five minutes between films
- Stand up as soon as the credits end and walk the length of the lobby and back.
- Draw the chin gently back and hold for five seconds, five times.
- Roll the shoulders backwards ten times and open the chest.
- Drink water before the next film rather than during it.

Frequently asked questions
Q. Can I come without an appointment?
You can, but appointments are seen first, so there may be a wait. A WhatsApp message a few hours ahead is usually enough for us to plan.
Q. How long does a visit take?
Treatment is 40 minutes. A first visit includes a short measurement and a consultation, so allow about 90 minutes. A return visit during the festival is shorter.
Q. Is the consultation in English?
Yes. The doctor consults with you directly in English. Interpreters for other languages can be arranged with 48 hours' notice.
Q. Can I get a receipt or a medical certificate in English?
Yes. We issue itemized receipts in English, and treatment records or a medical certificate in English on request, which is what most travel insurers ask for.
Q. Are you open on October 9, Hangeul Day?
October 9 is a public holiday and the clinic is closed. We are open on Saturday, October 10 from 09:00 to 17:00.
