Mandarin-speaking Korean medicine doctor in Busan

limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is next to Park Hyatt Busan in Marine City, Haeundae, where our Chinese-speaking doctor consults directly in Mandarin Chinese, the director consults in English, and you can walk in without an appointment. We are open weekdays 10:00–19:00 and Saturdays 09:00–17:00, about a 10-minute walk from Dongbaek Station on Busan Metro Line 2. Your first visit takes about 60–90 minutes, including consultation, assessment and treatment.

limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is across from the Suyeong Bay Yachting Center in Marine City, Haeundae, and five measurements — pulse and constitution reading, body composition, EEG stress, and 3D facial analysis — take about 15 minutes.

Why a Mandarin-speaking doctor matters

Korean medicine depends on detail: when the pain started, what makes it worse, how you sleep, how your digestion and your cycle are. That is hard to get across through a phone translation app, and harder still for parents travelling with you. At LIMDA the doctor asks and explains in Mandarin herself — the questions during pulse diagnosis, the results, what you will feel during treatment and what to do afterwards. Our Chinese-speaking doctor graduated from Renmin University of China and works at the clinic, so there is no interpreter to book 48 hours ahead. Written documents and receipts are issued in English.

Who this is for

  1. Visitors from Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan who want to try Korean acupuncture during a Busan trip
  2. Families where parents are most comfortable in Mandarin
  3. People living and working in Busan who want to explain their health in their own language
  4. Women who prefer a female doctor — all three doctors at LIMDA are women

What a visit looks like

  1. A short intake form at the front desk
  2. Measurements, about 15 minutes — body composition (InBody 970), an EEG-based stress reading and pulse diagnosis
  3. Consultation in Mandarin or English
  4. Treatment — LIMDA AcuNap in a private room: acupuncture, pharmacopuncture where useful, electro-acupuncture and infrared warmth, with cupping when it fits
  5. Aftercare advice, and a herbal prescription only if it helps; herbal medicine can be shipped abroad

Walking in

You can come without an appointment. Booked patients are seen at their reserved time, so a walk-in may wait a little. A WhatsApp message 30 minutes before you arrive — "Arriving 11:30, neck pain, Mandarin please" — lets us prepare.

What it costs

With Korean National Health Insurance, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping and physical therapy are insured and you pay the co-payment. Visitors without it take the LIMDA AcuNap course at 200,000 KRW, including a body assessment, Korean herbal moxibustion, cupping, red light therapy, ICT therapy, consultation and a LIMDA personalized conditioning report. Pharmacopuncture is an optional add-on at 15,000–50,000 KRW. We confirm the cost before treatment, and international cards are accepted.
