limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원), a Korean medicine clinic in Haeundae, is in Marine City, Busan — Haeundae I'PARK Tower 1, 1F (ground floor), No. 104–105, next to Park Hyatt Busan. It is about a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Dongbaek Station towards Marine City, and about five minutes by car from U-dong and Haeundae New Town. A weight-loss consultation starts by looking at your body as it is now — body composition analysis (InBody 970: muscle mass by segment, body water) and pulse diagnosis — and the 28-day programme is designed around those results.
limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is a 10-minute walk from Dongbaek Station (Busan Metro Line 2), and our doctors and all staff speak English, and a Chinese-speaking doctor is on site — no interpreter booking needed.
Getting here and parking
Walking from Dongbaek Station, you pass the Marine City entrance and arrive just as Park Hyatt Busan comes into view. By car, enter the I'PARK car park through GATE 3, park in the purple R5 or R6 zone, and take the shopping-arcade lift to 1F (ground floor). Book ahead and you are seen at your time; walk in and you are just as welcome, though there may be a short wait.
Three things we decide at the first consultation
First, your eating window. Two meals a day, finished within eight hours, followed by 16 hours without food — and we decide together where those eight hours fit in your day. We will not tell you that you must eat breakfast, nor that you must skip it. Second, the order. Soup → vegetables → protein → rice (a third to half a bowl). Twenty chews per mouthful, twenty minutes per meal. The same amount of food, eaten so that fullness hormones come through naturally. Third, whether herbal medicine is needed. Not everyone needs it. When digestion has broken down, swelling is marked or energy is at rock bottom, we prescribe in 15-day units, then look at how your body has changed after 15 days and decide again.
What we look at before the scale
We do not start by asking your weight. We ask first about sleep, bowel movements and how your body feels when you wake up. Feeling lighter and clearer tends to come first; the numbers follow. The goal is usually set at around 10% of your current weight, and the pace is kept at a level that does not bounce back. Results vary from person to person.
When this programme may not suit you
We do not recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are taking medication for a thyroid condition, kidney or liver disease, or an anticoagulant, we check your current medication first before deciding on herbal medicine. If you have a history of an eating disorder, there are things to look at before any weight-loss programme. That is why we ask about these at the start of the consultation.
Visitors without Korean national health insurance pay out of pocket; fees are posted at limda.co.kr/fee-schedule and confirmed before anything begins. Residents with Korean national health insurance (ARC) are covered for acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and physical therapy.
Why 28 days
Cells renew on a cycle of roughly 28 days. Going through one full cycle properly is what lets a new eating structure stay as a habit. We do not use appetite suppressants.
