From Your Haeundae Hotel to a Korean Medicine Clinic — A Foreigner’s Quick Guide

"Can I fit this into a two-day trip?"

That is the question I hear most from travelers. Last month a couple staying at a hotel near Marine City stopped by between sightseeing. They had always been curious about Korean medicine but assumed it needed weeks of visits. In about an hour, they had a pulse and tongue reading, acupuncture, and a herbal pouch to take home. You do not need a long stay to experience it — you just need to know how to arrange it.

Here is a simple guide for anyone staying near Haeundae.

Book before you arrive

LIMDA runs entirely by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome, but booked patients are seen first, so without a reservation you may wait. The easiest way to book from abroad is WhatsApp (+82-10-7925-6248), WeChat (林茶韩医院LIMDA), or LINE (@533ntugz). A day’s notice is usually enough — tell us your hotel and preferred time and we will fit you in.

Language

English consultations are handled directly by the director, so you can book an English visit and be seen right away, with no third-party interpreter in the room. For other languages, let us know at least 48 hours ahead and we will arrange interpretation. LIMDA is a registered clinic for foreign patients in Busan (registration no. M-2026-02-07-709023).

What a first visit looks like

A first visit starts with a consultation — pulse, tongue, and questions about sleep, digestion, and energy. Depending on what you come for, it may include AcuNap, our signature treatment: twenty quiet minutes of acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, electro-acupuncture, and infrared warmth together, in a dark, calm room. Most people fall asleep. If needles make you nervous, just say so and we will slow down and use fewer.

Taking treatment home

Because most travelers cannot return daily, we send herbal medicine home with you. Custom herbal medicine is prescribed in 15-day courses, packed in travel pouches for your luggage, and we ship internationally if you run out. Facial acupuncture and other treatments can be timed to your trip as well.

Good to know

The clinic is on the first floor of iPark Tower 1 in Marine City, right next to Park Hyatt Busan and a short walk or five-minute drive from most Haeundae hotels. Prices for non-covered treatments are posted at the clinic. And one honest note: Korean medicine works best alongside conventional care, not instead of it. If you have red-flag symptoms — sudden weakness, severe or spreading pain, high fever — please see a hospital first, and we will work around that.
