How to Fit a Wellness Half-Day into a Busan Trip — A Korean Medicine Itinerary in Haeundae

Most travelers who come to us did not plan a wellness trip. They planned a Busan trip, and somewhere between the fish market and the beach they thought: my body could use something. This is a practical guide to fitting that in.

Where it fits in a typical itinerary

Day trips in Busan tend to cluster: Gamcheon and Jagalchi in the west, Haeundae and Gwangalli in the east. A Korean medicine visit fits best on your Haeundae day, because we are in Marine City, on the ground floor of iPark Tower 1, next to Park Hyatt Busan. Dongbaek Island's walking path, the beach and Gwangan Bridge views are all within a short walk.

The half-day, hour by hour

Late morning: a first consultation of 40–60 minutes — pulse diagnosis, a conversation about sleep, digestion and energy, and body composition and stress measurements. The doctor explains what she finds, in English. Around noon: AcuNap, about 20 minutes on the table. Acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, electro-acupuncture and infrared heat together in a dark, quiet room. Most people fall asleep. There are no marks afterwards, so your afternoon is unaffected. Early afternoon: lunch nearby, eaten in the order we suggest — soup or vegetables first, protein next, rice last. Marine City has plenty of light Korean food and seafood. Afternoon: the Dongbaek Island loop, coffee with a bridge view, then back to your plans.

Choosing what to book

Jet lag and travel fatigue: AcuNap alone is usually enough. Face before an event or photos: facial acupuncture, ideally started two to three weeks ahead rather than the day before. "My check-ups are normal but I feel off": the longevity check-up — constitution analysis, EEG-based stress measurement, body composition, 3D facial analysis and pulse diagnosis, explained together. Something to take home: herbal medicine, prescribed one-to-one in 15-day units, packed in travel pouches or shipped internationally.

Practical notes for travelers

We are appointment-only, so tell us your dates and we will build the time around your schedule — WhatsApp +82-10-7925-6248. English is with the doctor directly; Japanese and Chinese need 48 hours' notice for an interpreter. We are a registered medical institution for foreign patients in Busan (Reg. No. M-2026-02-07-709023). Visitors without Korean insurance pay out of pocket, and our fee schedule is published on our website; we can issue receipts for travel insurance. If you have a same-day flight, leave two hours between your appointment and heading to the airport.

Cruise passengers

If you are in port for a day, the timing is tighter but workable — see the cruise guide below.
