Most longevity programs in Korea are in Seoul, cost a great deal, and take days. This is the other kind: a half-day in Haeundae, built on the oldest idea in East Asian medicine, that you look after the body before illness arrives. In Korean medicine this is called chi-mi-byeong (治未病), and the modern word people use for it is longevity, or healthy aging.

limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is on the first floor of I’Park Tower 1 in Marine City, Haeundae, and five measurements — pulse and constitution reading, body composition, EEG stress, and 3D facial analysis — take about 40 minutes.

limda k-medical clinic (경희림다한의원) is next to Park Hyatt Busan in Marine City, Haeundae, across from Suyeong Bay Yacht Marina. Our doctors are licensed Korean medicine doctors, the visit is appointment-only, and everything below is explained in English.

What "longevity" means here, and what it does not

We do not promise to slow aging or add years. What we do is read where your body is now, in a way you can understand, and give you a plan for sleep, digestion, stress and movement that fits your life. If treatment is useful, we say so; if it is not, we say that too.

The five measurements

  1. Pulse diagnosis. The doctor reads your pulse by hand at both wrists. It is the oldest part of the visit and still the one that shapes the conversation most.
  2. Constitution analysis. A questionnaire and examination that group your tendencies: how you handle heat and cold, digestion, sleep, stress.
  3. Body composition. Muscle, fat and water balance, region by region.
  4. Stress measurement. A short EEG-based reading of how your nervous system is coping.
  5. 3D facial analysis. Used for facial acupuncture planning, and as a record you can compare on a later visit.

All five are non-invasive and take about 40 minutes together. Then the doctor sits with you and explains what the readings say, in English. You leave with a written report in English; the 3D facial analysis report is available in 20 languages.

What happens after the readings

Depending on what we find, the visit may end with lifestyle guidance only, or with acupuncture, a rest-style acupuncture session, or a herbal prescription. Herbal medicine is prescribed only after this in-person consultation, never from a form. For travelers, individually packed daily pills are practical to carry home, and we will tell you what is realistic for your destination.

Keeping it going after you leave

The point of a longevity visit is what happens in the next six months, not the next hour. You leave with a written summary, a short set of daily habits tied to your readings, and, if appropriate, a follow-up plan. Returning visitors can compare their measurements against the first visit.

Questions people ask

Q. Is this a medical check-up?

It is a Korean medicine consultation with measurements. It does not replace blood tests or imaging from your own doctor; many people bring recent results and we read them together.

About two hours including consultation and treatment.

Q. Can I do it on a hotel stay or cruise day?

Yes. It is designed to fit a half day in Haeundae.
